Faith

We are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and much of our strength comes from our faith. We believe that trails are meant to be over come and to make us stronger people. We believe in Christ and know that because He suffered and died for us, we will one day be able to live with Him and our Heavenly Father again. We believe in enternal families and live in a way that we can be together forever. If you have any questions about our religion please visit the church's website or ask us a question.

This quote brings so much peace to my soul. I firmly believe that one day I will be able to witness my child " perfect and finally free at last" from this disease that affects every part of our lives.

"I bear witness of that day when loved ones whom we knew to have disabilities in mortality will stand before us glorified and grand, breathtakingly perfect in body and mind. What a thrilling moment that will be! I do not know whether we will be happier for ourselves that we have witnessed such a miracle or happier for them that they are fully perfect and finally “free at last.” Until that hour when Christ’s consummate gift is evident to us all, may we live by faith, hold fast to hope, and show “compassion one of another,” I pray, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen." 1. Thanks for sharing your story. We have a lot in common. My name is Ashlee, I am also LDS and living in Boise. My son was 3 last Dec when he was diagnosed with T1D. I also had the same thoughts on nutrition that you had. Good luck with everything you are doing. We will probably get a pump at the beginning of next year so i am interested in how things are going for you.

  2. Thank you for posting Ashlee. That is funny how similar we are. If you don't mind me asking who is your endocrinologist? Hope everything is going well with you. Let me know you get your pump.
