We are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and much of our strength comes from our faith. This quote brings so much peace to my soul. I firmly believe that one day I will be able to witness my child " perfect and finally free at last" from this disease that affects every part of our lives.

Thanks for sharing your story. We have a lot in common. My name is Ashlee, I am also LDS and living in Boise. My son was 3 last Dec when he was diagnosed with T1D. I also had the same thoughts on nutrition that you had. Good luck with everything you are doing. We will probably get a pump at the beginning of next year so i am interested in how things are going for you.
